Community Food Bank
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America, distributes food, provides education and training, develops programs to help hungry people throughout the state, and engages all sectors of society in this mission. With the help of Woolco Foods, CFBNJ gives hungry people in New Jersey food, help and hope.
Food Bank For New York City has been the city’s major hunger-relief organization working to end hunger throughout the five boroughs for more than 30 years. Nearly one in five New Yorkers relies on Food Bank for food and other resources. Food Bank takes a strategic, multifaceted approach that provides meals and builds capacity in the neediest communities, while raising awareness and engagement among all New Yorkers. Through the support of charities such as Woolco Foods, Food Bank provides food for approximately 64 million free meals per year for New Yorkers in need.
Founded in 1982 as the world’s first food rescue organization, City Harvest is dedicated to helping feed the nearly 1.4 million New Yorkers facing hunger. Through the One Case, One Meal program with Elara Disposables, Woolco Foods has helped donate over 300,000 meals to people fighting hunger.
